Discover this 2012 HITACHI ZX17U-2 YLR mini-excavator, with 3,544 operating hours. Compact, versatile, and well-suited for earthmoving tasks, this 1,860 kg hydraulic excavator is an excellent choice for construction professionals, landscapers, and utility infrastructure contractors. Equipped with a 15 hp Yanmar 3TNV70 engine, a retractable undercarriage, a backfill blade, and a monoboom, this HITACHI mini-excavator is configured for work on sites with restricted access. The 1.86-tonne HITACHI ZX17U-2 YLR is designed for earthmoving operations in spaces where larger machinery cannot easily maneuver. Its retractable undercarriage—which allows the width to be reduced to 98 cm—facilitates access through narrow openings, into courtyards, and within confined work areas. With a maximum digging depth of 2.37 meters and a reach of 4.08 meters, this mini-excavator is ideal for trenching, small-scale earthworks, utility connections, and landscaping projects. Its 15 hp Yanmar engine and two travel speeds allow for flexible movement tailored to various site conditions. Retractable tracks: reduce the machine's footprint to access tight spaces. Backfill blade: useful for leveling, backfilling, and providing stability during certain tasks. Monoboom: a configuration well-suited for standard excavation and material handling operations. Cylinder protection: additional shielding against impacts and debris encountered on construction sites. 230 mm rubber tracks: suitable for travel over various types of surfaces. Two travel speeds: 2.4 and 4.3 km/h, allowing for adjustable movement. Canopy-style operator station: provides convenient access to the controls and excellent visibility of the work area.
